【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheequipmentandprocedurefordeterminingthewatervapourtransmissionpropertiesinthesteadystateunderspecifiedtestconditionsfortestspecimensofpreformedpipeinsulation.Itisapplicabletothermalinsulatingproducts.Itisintendedtobeusedforhomogeneousmaterials(seeNOTE)andforproductswhichmayhaveintegralskinsoradheredfacingsofsomedifferentmaterial.NOTEAmaterialisconsideredtobehomogeneousintermsofmassdistributionifitsdensityisapproximativelythesamethroughout,i.e.ifthemeasureddensityvaluesareclosetoitsmeandensity.Thewatervapourtransmissionrateandpermeancevaluesarespecifictothetestspecimen(i.e.theproduct)thicknesstested.Forhomogeneousproducts,thewatervapourpermeabilityisapropertyofthematerial.Ifthepipeinsulationiscutfromaflatproduct,thenthewatervapourtransmissionpropertiescanbeobtainedfromtestscarriedoutontheflatproductwithsimilarpropertiesinaccordancewithEN12086.
