【摘要】:IEC60825-1isapplicabletosafetyoflaserproductsemittinglaserradiationinthewavelengthrange180nmto1mm.Alaserproductmayconsistofasinglelaserwithorwithoutaseparatepowersupplyormayincorporateoneormorelasersinacomplexoptical,electrical,ormechanicalsystem.Typically,laserproductsareusedfordemonstrationofphysicalandopticalphenomena,materialsprocessing,datareadingandstorage,transmissionanddisplayofinformation,etc.Suchsystemshavefounduseinindustry,business,entertainment,research,education,medicineandconsumerproducts.LaserproductsthataresoldtoothermanufacturersforuseascomponentsofanysystemforsubsequentsalearenotsubjecttoIEC60825-1,sincethefinalproductwillitselfbesubjecttothisstandard.However,ifthelasersystemwithinthelaserproductisoperablewhenremovedfromtheequipment,therequirementsofthisPart1applytotheremovableunit.AnylaserproductisexemptfromallfurtherrequirementsofthisPart1ifclassificationbythemanufacturerofthatproductaccordingtoClauses3,8and9showsthattheemissionleveldoesnotexceedtheAEL(accessibleemissionlimit)ofClass1underallconditionsofoperation,maintenance,serviceandfailure.Inadditiontothehazardsresultingfromlaserradiation,laserequipmentmayalsogiverisetootherhazardssuchasfireandelectricshock.ThisPart1describestheminimumrequirements.CompliancewiththisPart1maynotbesufficienttoachievetherequiredlevelofproductsafety.Laserproductsmustconformtotheapplicableperformanceandtestingrequirementsoftheapplicableproductsafetystandards.WherealasersystemformsapartofequipmentwhichissubjecttoanotherIECproductsafetystandard(e.g.formedicalequipment(IEC60601-2-22),ITequipment(IEC60950),audioandvideoequipment(IEC60065),equipmentforuseinhazardousatmospheres(IEC60079),orelectrictoys(IEC62115)),thisPart1willapplyinaccordancewiththeprovisionsofIECGuide104F1)forhazardsresultingfromlaserradiation.Ifnoproductsafetystandardisapplicable,thenIEC61010-1applies.Inpreviouseditions,LEDswereincludedinthescopeofIEC60825-1,andtheymaybestillincludedinotherpartsoftheIEC60825series.However,withthedevelopmentoflampsafetystandards,opticalradiationsafetyofLEDsingeneralcanbemoreappropriatelyaddressedbylampsafetystandards.TheremovalofLEDsfromthescopeofthisPart1doesnotprecludeotherstandardsfromincludingLEDswhenevertheyrefertolasers.CIES009maybeappliedtodeterminetheriskgroupclassofanLEDorproductincorporatingoneormoreLEDs.TheMPE(maximumpermissibleexposure)valuesofthisPart1weredevelopedforlaserradiationanddonotapplytocollateralradiation.However,ifaconcernexiststhataccessiblecollateralradiationmightbehazardous,thelaserMPEvaluesmaybeappliedtoconservativelyevaluatethispotentialhazard.TheMPEvaluesarenotapplicabletointentionalhumanexposuretolaserradiationforthepurposeofmedicalorcosmetic/aesthetictreatment.
