【摘要】:Partofthefunctionofashoeistoassistthefootinmaintainingbodytemperatureandtoguardagainstlargeheatchanges.Theinsulatingpropertyofamaterialusedinshoeconstructionisdependentonporosityortheamountofairspacespresent.Agoodinsulatingmaterialhasalowthermalconductivityvalue,k.Thethermalconductivityvalueincreaseswithanincreaseinmoisturecontentsincethekvalueforwaterishigh,14by104calx00B7;cm/sx00B7;cm4x00B7;x00B0;C(0.59W/mx00B7;K).1.1Thispracticeisintendedtodeterminethethermalconductivityofasheetmaterial.Thispracticeisnotlimitedtoleather,butmaybeusedforanypoorlyconductivematerialsuchasrubber,textileandcorkassociatedwiththeconstructionofshoes.1.2Aconstantheatsourceissandwichedbetweentwoidenticalmetalcylinderswhicharemountedwiththeiraxesvertical.Atestspecimenisplacedonthetopsurfaceoftheuppercylinderandathirdidenticalmetalcylinderisplacedontopofthetestspecimensothatallthecylindersandthetestspecimenareconcentricallyaligned(seeFig1).Theheatsourceisswitchedonandthetemperaturesofthethreeblocksallowedtoreachequilibrium.Thethermalconductivityofthetestspecimenisthendeterminedfromthesteady-statetemperaturesofthethreeblocks,theexposedsurfaceareasoftheblocksandtestspecimenandthethicknessofthetestspecimen.1.3Thispracticedoesnotapplytowetblue.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortwoclassesofwallventilatingunitsasfollows:class1:airbricksforuseinexternalwalls;class2:wallventilatorsorgratingsforinternaluse.SometypicalexamplesofdesignsareshowninFigure1,Figure2andFigure3.Otherpatternsmayhoweverbesupplied,providedtheyconformtotherequirementsofthisstandard.GuidanceontheinformationtobesuppliedbythepurchaserwhenorderingisgiveninAnnexA.Thisstandardcontainsnorequirementsforthefollowingproperties.Durability(otherthanresistancetocolourchangeofthermoplasticsmaterials).Itisrecommendedthatwherethereisuncertaintyaboutdurabilitythenexpertadviceshouldbesought.a)Firepropertiessotfhermoplasticsmaterials.Thegeneraluseofthermoplasticsairbricks,wallventilatorsandgratingsinisolationinmasonryisconsideredtohaveaninsignificanteffectonthespreadoffire.However,specialconsiderationshouldbegiventotheuseofthermoplasticsairbrickswhereitisintendedtogroupanumberofthemtogether,e.g.forboilerhouseventilation.b)Compressivestrengthofthermoplasticsairbricks.Thegeneraluseoftheseinisolationisconsideredtohavetohaveaninsignificanteffectonmasonrystrength.However,specialconsiderationshouldbegiventotheirusewhereitisintendedtogroupanumberofthemtogether,e.g.forboilerhouseventilation.
