【摘要】:Therealdensityofcalcinedpetroleumcokedirectlyinfluencesthephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofthemanufacturedcarbonandgraphiteartifactsforwhichitisused.Density,therefore,isamajorqualityspecificationofcalcinedpetroleumcokeandisusedasacontrolincokecalcination.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherealdensity(RD)ofcalcinedpetroleumcoke.Realdensity,bydefinitionisobtainedwhentheparticlesizeofthespecimenissmallerthan75microns(No.200Sieve).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
