【摘要】:ThisEuropeanstandardspecifiesalaboratorytestmethodfordeterminingthebiocidal/biostaticefficacyoffilmpreservativesinacoatingagainstalgalgrowth.Thestandarddoesnotapplytocoatingsnotsusceptibletoalgalgrowth.Thetestmethodcomprisesonlyfilmpreservation,nottheprotectionofthesubstrateitself,e.g.wood,whichisdealtwithinanotherstandard.Thetestmethodisapplicableforwoodandmasonrycoatings.Itisnotapplicabletomarinecoatings.Safety,healthandenvironmentalaspectsarenotinthescopeofthisstandard.
