【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversmetalinsertfittingsandcoppercrimpringsforusewithcross-linkedpolyethylene(PEX)tubingin/,1/2,/,3/4,and1in.and1/nominaldiametersthatmeettherequirementsforSpecificationsF876andF877.Thesefittingsareintendedforusein100psi(689.5kPa)cold-andhot-waterdistributionsystemsoperatingattemperaturesupto,andincluding,180?F(82?C).Therequirementsformaterials,workmanship,dimensions,andmarkingstobeusedonthefittingsandringsarealsoincluded.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredthestandard.CompliancewiththisspecificationrequiresthatthesefittingsbetestedandcertifiedtoSpecificationF877.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
